Strawberry Swing Music Video Analysis - Coldplay
Here is my analysis of a Strawberry Swing by Coldplay. The reason for using this music video was because it represent the theory side of music videos more so than a lot of music videos and although performance based the video has an interesting connection to the lyrics that we hear.

SummerThing! Music Video Analysis - Afrojack
Here is my analysis of the music video SummerThing! by Afrojack. The reason that I choose to use this music video was because it was different to the other types of music videos that I had looked at so far. It is also a performance style music video as well which I haven't really analysed as much of up to this point.
Testing Make Up
Here is a test version of what the syle and look of the make up will be on our main actor/character when we film the music video. The reason that we have decided to use the idea is because we want the actor to look the tired, hurt and confused, by doing this as well as the audience will be able to agree that the main actor is unstable and doesn't understand what is going on around him, this can also be used to reflect anger or previous problems that the character may have had as well. This type of make up may also appear on other actors depending on the situation and the type of flashback that our main character is having.
Location Shots
Here is some of the location shots which we have taken of the tithe barn which will be one of the locations that we will use. We will also be using other locations within the area around Shiplake and Henley-On-Thames as well. The idea behind the kitchen is that it can be a location used where we can get our actors to have flashbacks to as well as also being used towards the end of our music video when. The main thought behind using the tithe barn (drama theatre) is that it is wide space which allows us to move around with the idea of our main character being surrounded by his thoughts through the use of the mirrors, it also is already fitted with a variety of lights and has the space to allow us to use a birds eye view shot from above as well.

Hourglass Music Video Analysis - Catfish And The Bottlemen
Here is my analysis of the music video Hourglass by Catfish And The Bottlemen. The music video itself is in black and white and looks very simple. The editing is used is blended to the rythum and the speed of the song. This type of performance that is has been used could also relate to Sven Csrlsson's idea of the television bard because it tells a story to the audience. in an informal way.
